Marcus 6 months!

Marcus turned 6 months old on July 24th. So I figured we better give an update on him :). We won't go to the doctor until next week for weight etc. But trust me, he's heavy enough! According to a Walmart scale, I think he's about 20 lbs. I think he'll be a tall boy someday. He is now sitting up on his own. And he can get into the sitting position on his own too. He is eating solid foods and loving it. So far he doesn't like bananas, but loves carrots. He likes to sit in his high chair too.

 I put Marcus in the laundry basket for fun once. Then I realized it would help him sit up better :)

Some more of D.C.

Dave and I have been able to do a few more touristy things in the last month. We went to Mount Vernon (George Washington's home), toured the Capitol and the Capitol dome, went to the top of the George Washington Masonic Memorial Temple and the US Botanic Garden. We also went to Arlington Cemetery, but forgot our camera :(

I'm a little sad I didn't do and see more while we were here this summer---but we're really hoping to be back here in a couple years---so maybe then we can see the rest.
