4th of July in Michigan

We went to Michigan again this year for the 4th of July---it's becoming a tradition :)  It was nice to get away from the DC heat and to be with family. We found a great deal on a direct flight too! Dave's parents have a lake house off a small private lake, but near Lake Michigan. So we spent the holiday there with his parents, his sister Juliana, and his sister Becky and her family.

We had fun playing in the water and hanging out with family all week. And Becky was so awesome and let Dave and I go on a date---so we went to see "The Avengers" finally :)  It was nice to have a date again! A lot of my week was the normal taking care of Marcus--- but it was still fun to do so surrounded by family and in a beautiful place. I'm definitely starting to love Michigan and all the trees and lakes.
